SHOW ME YOUR FRIENDS AND I'LL SHOW YOU YOUR FUTURE

It has been said by many business people, thought leaders and even concerned family members. "Show me your friends and I will show you your future". This concept is very true because humans tend to emulate each other. We mimic trends, fashion and even food, beverage and musical tastes. So in some way, we're influenced by peer groups. This being the case, looking at your friendships and truly analyzing your value to each other is key to evaluating yourself. Always remember the goal is to find your better life. Find out if some friends are always helping you up, or constantly pulling you down. You gravitate to what you are. If you find that your friend selection is getting stale, it is a perfect time to analyze and re-evaluate.

This is where you need that "Come to Jesus moment." Be truthful with yourself. Are you supporting your friends or are all of you supporting each other. If so cool, if not; look at your current situation.

The wisest king of all, Solomon, wrote in the bible, 'He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed." (Proverbs 13:20).

If you are the biggest fish in the pond, then the pond is to small. Acquaint yourself with people that will help you grow, challenge yourself.

Understand where you want to go and make sure you have friends that understand you and or are willing to take the journey with you. If not, evaluation is in order.

LIVE YOUR BETTER LIFE
